How to submit a sample
Make sure each vial is clearly named so it matches your sample list.
After a testing order, send the physical sample matching it to Pure Pep Lab. We analyse it and issue a PDF report. This is research characterisation only, not clinical grade, approval, sterility, or human/veterinary use.
Before you send
- Order signed in to your lab account and choose HPLC purity or HPLC + LC-MS. Each sample tested gets its own submission code (format PPS-XXXXXX), allocated automatically once your order is placed and payment is confirmed. You will find it in My Account → Lab Testing. We use it to track your sample and print it on your sample list, so you do not need to write it on the vial.
- Complete submission for each code: choose the peptide (method code), add the name on the vial (if it is not the peptide name) or your lot ID and, if you like, the amount you are sending.
- Name each vial clearly with the peptide name or your own label, matching what you entered at Complete submission.
- Print your sample list from the job page in your lab account and put it inside the parcel with the vial(s). It shows each submission code (with a QR code), the peptide you declared, the name on the vial or your lot ID, and the amount sent. We use it to match each named vial to its submission code when the parcel arrives.
- Post your parcel to Pure Pep Lab, Cambridge (address below). We recommend a tracked service; postage is at your cost.
Do not send a sample without the printed sample list in the parcel. We run compounds in our current method library; contact us before sending if yours is not listed.
Pack and post
Send at least 10 mg per sample (the minimum for every test type, HPLC or HPLC + LC-MS), one compound per sealed vial, each clearly named so it matches your sample list. Put the vial in a secondary bag inside a rigid box, put your printed sample list inside the parcel, and post it to Pure Pep Lab yourself. We recommend a tracked service. Do not send sharps or clinical specimens.

Weekly schedule
Samples must reach Pure Pep Lab in Cambridge by Wednesday to join that week’s Friday courier collection to the testing laboratory. Samples arriving after Wednesday go in the following week’s Friday collection. The first weekly collection is in November.
When your parcel arrives we match each named vial to its submission code using your sample list, log them, and send them to the testing laboratory in the weekly Friday courier collection. You can follow progress and download your PDF report in your lab account. Results aim for around 7 working days after the Friday collection that includes your sample; this is not a guaranteed SLA.
What the tests mean
HPLC purity and MS identity support describe research material under stated methods. PurePepStore does not claim UKAS or ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for these services. Reports describe the methods used for research characterisation of the submitted sample.
